PES Hawaiian

Unlike the name would lead you to believe, this variety does not originate from Hawaii; where it comes from is a mystery. It gets its name because the company Pacifica Exotica Spora (PES), from which this variety came, is located in Hawaii. The company is also responsible for developing the highly popular PES Amazonian variety, which is why the two varieties are commonly bought together. Features Sub-ellipsoid on 4-spored basidia, purple to brownish spores. Caps are usually 50mm and more rarely being smaller.
